Message	the kind of testing you're talking about is mostly done BEFORE they decide to give the OK for the outside supplier part to go into full production and be sold under the brand name. The QC i was referring to is AFTER the part is already in full production and Nissan or whoever is making sure that the part is being consistently made to the same quality. So not all companies continue to do the same amount of QC once an outside supplier has been awarded a part.
